Coaching and Business Planning - Tier 2

Welcome back! We have a multistep training program. Today I wanted to discuss the second step in that program: coaching.

It’s important to us that you meet with a real estate coach once a week. During those meetings, the two of you will discuss your goals, not only for real estate, but for your family life, your spiritual life, etc.

Once your goals have been established, the next step is to determine how to achieve them. What are some daily, weekly and monthly actions that can help you reach your ultimate goals. It’s our belief that having a mentor to guide you through this will make accomplishing your goals much easier.

If you are in need of a real estate coach, please give me a call at 318.868.3600 Thanks for watching!

Basic Training Program 4 Tier Process - Tier 1

Welcome back to my video blog. At Realty Executives, we have a four tier training process. This training is for someone who hasn't sold real estate before or for someone who feels they never received the proper training.

In the first tier, we go over a lot of different modules:
  1. Prospecting - Where does business come from? How do you find that business?
  2. Business Planning Process - What does your business schedule consist of? How can we improve your time management?
  3. Listing Process - What is the proper documentation? How do you use the Competitive Market Analysis? How do you determine the best listing price?
  4. Buyer Interview - How to choose the best price to offer? How and who do you represent? What goes into a purchase agreement?
  5. Negotiation - How do you present your offer? How does the counter offer process work?
  6. Tracking forms - What are the supporting forms?
  7. Managing the entire transaction - What process comes first? Who is responsible for each part of the transaction?
As you can see, it's our goal to help you understand each and every detail of a real estate transaction. We want you to be confident the next time you sell a home or the next time you represent a buyer.

If you have any questions, please give me a call at 318.868.3600 Thanks for watching!

Real Estate Training with Shane Sharkey

Welcome back to our video blog! I am so excited to tell you about our agent education department. We have three certified instructors in-house that really push our agents to new levels in profit and productivity. I wanted Patty Gaston, an agent here, to tell us her story.

Patty Gaston:

Before I was a real estate agent I cleaned houses for 20 years. I was the maid; I cleaned two houses everyday, five days a week for 52 weeks. When I turned 53, I decided I wanted to become a real estate agent.

When I first came to Realty Executives I felt unprofessional; I only had a high school degree. With their agent education program, though, I received marvelous training. I gained confidence and knowledge. In the first year I closed 30 transactions.

I’ve now been an agent for eight years and close 30-40 homes each year. I strongly encourage anyone who is new to real estate or anyone who may be struggling to give us a call.

Thanks for watching!

Finding a Real Estate Agent's Unique Goals with Shayne Sharkey

Tell us about a specific agent that found success working with you

One our agents, Jenny, has really flourished here. Being a military wife, she had passion for military families. She wanted to find them homes and we encouraged her to pursue her passion. She made an additional $72,000 more here than she would if she had stayed at her other broker.

How do you foster entrepreneurialism?

We take the time to sit down with our agents and find their reasons for getting into real estate. What motivates them? Jenny is able to help and give back to other military families and it’s really a win-win situation for everyone.

Fostering Entrepreneurialism with Ben F Dowis III

How do you foster entrepreneurialism?

Our business model at this company is designed to help agents become investors, become entrepreneurs. We want them to have that mentality.

Some companies are focused on the dollar coming into the company; we are more focused on the dollar coming into the agent because we know the company benefits from that as well.

We teach our agents to be good investors in not only business but their health and personal life. When those circles are balanced, life is good.

Finding Success with Realty Executives by Ben F. Dowis III

Hey everyone, today I have Ben F. Dowis III with us! He is going to tell you about a specific real estate agent who found success working with us.

Ben F. Dowis III

We worked with an experienced agent who was with one of our competitors. She was successful, but had reached a stagnant point in her career.

We sat down with her and helped design a business plan that was more than just dollars and numbers. We actually attached personal growth goals as well. We asked her to draw up 10-12 of her own goals she wanted to accomplish.

Her business has tripled since she has joined our company. We have a very entrepreneurial approach to business. We focus on personal and family goals in addition to listings and numbers.
